The rock-solid nucleus of the band has performed together since the 1980s. After a few years pursuing other projects Trevor, Don and Chris reunited for a charity gig in 2002. Simon, with his huge vocal range, was recruited in 2004. In 2005 the line up was extended to a five-piece with Robs virtuoso keyboard skills. Finally, the band evolved again in late 2009 with the addition of Janie and her emotionally charged vocal style, taking the band to its sizzling six piece line up.

Trevor played his first gig at the age of eleven and has played rhythm alongside Chris for more than twenty years. After many years on the road, THE DRAW finally enabled him to be in a band that plays all his favourite music, he spends hours crafting the ever changing set lists. His habit of blowing up bass amps is now cured, probably.

Simon served his time as a trumpet player in various soul and R&B based bands, before stepping into the limelight as lead vocalist in THE DRAW. With a fabulous vocal range and mean harmonica playing his stage presence drives the show with passion, dedication and conviction. He also plays tambourine.

Janie joins THE DRAW following a series of storming guest vocal appearances. Janie sings with energy, passion and style, her addition to the band means there is now nothing we cannot play. we also look a lot better on stage.

For Don any style of guitar is second nature. He uses several classic guitars to skillfully recreate the range of sounds required by THE DRAW, from Clapton to The Kaiser Chiefs. With an attention to detail that has to be heard to be believed he a major asset to the live sound. Crucially he brings the beers to the rehearsals.

Chris is the power house behind the live performance holding the whole show together with flair and timing whilst also providing the close vocal harmonies that are a trademark of the band. He has a natural skill as the main arranger for many of the songs as well as frequently juggling with drumsticks, he says deliberately

Robert’s hi-tech background enables him to make any song sound ‘just like the record’. Originally a classically trained piano player, if you want to cover Genesis, Coldplay or Keane then you need his level of ability. Though he does have problems with the more basic stuff like knowing what day of the week it is.

No band is complete without its technical crew and Sean is it! He has a passion for lighting and special effects that make THE DRAW shows even more exciting. Sean makes it all work giving an exciting edge to live gigs. His constant search for new technology now results in a lighting rig that rivals the sound system.
